Letting everyone know I'm now finished with Book 7.  I won't say anything else until I know the rest of my friends have finished as well.

In other news, I have been accepted into Brescia's Master's of Education program.  Go me!  More school.  Hopefully when I finish school this time, I'll be able to get a job!

Now, since so many people read this journal, I thought I'd give my long awaited review to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  

Overall impression?  Irritated.  So many things in the wrong spots and rushed and all the little things I expected to be in there weren't.  But.  One of my very good friends has not read the books and she went with me and Mom and she said she really liked it.  So, anyway.  Mom liked it.  I liked it too, but it just irritated me.  

But Penny did give me an idea for a t-shirt that I'm gonna make to wear Friday to the book party.  She said "Harry is my hero!"  So I'm gonna but that on a tshirt and wear it to BAM on Friday!

I'm very busy this week...hope everyone has a great one!

i must be a bad person.  really.  i mean, if i were a good person, things like what's been happening wouldn't happen to me, right?  just when i think i'm doing things good and how everyone wants them, something happens and BOOM!  everything falls apart.  why me?  i try to do what everyone wants.  yes i'm a procrastinator.  and i've been known to be lazy.  but i try sometimes.  i just never get anywhere.  i can never do anything right, but you can believe i can always do something wrong.  it's frustrating.  and lonely.

Just want to say really quick.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fall break!  No pressure (or as much it seems) and it's just a good time.  Hope I haven't jinxed myself now...hm...

So what has been going on in my life lately?  Work mostly.  Started playing bells again, which interferes with House party time, but with the playoffs starting, maybe it won't matter so much.  Lost starts Wed.  Should be interesting.  Have to start doing pd for daycare.  Ugh.  

I made a pumpkin cake today for a bakeoff.  I didn't win.  But I think my cake was pretty good.  Oh well.

1.  I don't update my journal very often.  Why?  I don't really know.  Maybe cuz only two people read it, and I think I have a fairly boring life...you decide.

2.  I think I'm a pretty good writer.  I've gone back and read some of my old college papers and other misc. things and I'm amazed at how nice it sounds.  And then there's the fanfics I write...I think they are pretty good.

3.  I still keep in touch with some of my friends from high school.  It's really nice to see them and talk to them on myspace (the only good thing about myspace!)

4.  I love stupid movies.  Clue, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Independence Day, Pirates of the Caribbean are just some of the movies I thought were really stupid that I completely and utterly love and hope to one day own all of them on DVD.  

5.  I collect far too many stuffed animals and teddy bears...toys, etc.  I absolutely love teddy bears and now it seems like I like tigers too!  But it seems like I'm always finding something that I just have to have and therefore I have to have it, and then I'm broke!  But it's all good.

6.  I love Tuesdays.  Especially when I have worked.  I love subbing and working in the daycare.  But sometimes it drives me bananas!  And then Tuesday comes along and I can totally veg with my friends and fangirl and all that wonderful stuff!  Thanks girls!

So I remember when I used to update!  Go figure!  So, once again, I'm going to try to update weekly, with a short review of the week and its happenings!  Enjoy my boring life!

Sunday, Aug. 27-- I spent the day in TN visiting people I don't get to see very often.  We had a shindig with food and all that.  Not a bad day, all in all.  Two notes--driving on I-65 on the way back sucked.  Construction sucks.  And we just barely got home before rain hit.  But a good day.

Monday, Aug. 28-- worked.  Went really well.

Tuesday, Aug. 29-- worked daycare.  That's always fun!

Wed. Aug. 30-- daycare again.  And religious ed. that night.  I've got a good group this year.

Thurs. Aug. 31-- worked as a sub.  Heh.  Big drama going down.  And!  Finally got over to Ama's for much needed Ayala/Buffon party.  The last party before House parties start again!  

Friday Sept. 1-- daycare!  Mowing yard!  Cleaning building!  

Sat. Sept. 2-- chill day with grocery shopping.  Read at Church.

Sunday, Sept. 3-- not a thing going on!

did i mention i've had a cold all week?  Hope everyone has a great week...watch House this Tuesday!

So this is going to be one of those random, rambling entries, just so you know....  ;)

Like the title of the entry says, watch vh1, and you'll learn something.  For example, Def Leopard has a new album out?!  What?!  Well, as their new single is called, "Rock on!"  (the track is actually pretty good!)
Also I learned from VH1 that Cirque du Soleil is using The Beatles' music for their new show.  How cool is that?!  Who wouldn't want to go see that!  Wow!

In other news, I'm worried about this season of Project Runway.  These are some really weird people.  Really really weird people.  But I'm excited, nonetheless.

Pirates rock!  ARRRRRRGH!

Today is a very sad day for me and my church.  Our director of music and worship passed away this morning.  It was somewhat expected...he had cancer for almost a year, but he had been doing better.  But he had a lot of fluid on his heart removed here a month ago and he just never recovered from the cancer.  He was a good friend.  Funny, always something nice to say, just nice to be around.  I'll miss him alot.  I was looking around my room and I have a Cherished Teddy from him that he had given me for my b-day a few years back.  It's Mary had a Little Lamb.  And right underneath the title, it says, I'll always be by your side.  That brought a smile to my face, cuz I think Stephan really will watch out for me.  Sorry for the rambling entry, I just needed to get this out.  Hope everyone is having a good day and week. 

ERGH! I found out one of my friends is going through a difficult time, due to a boy. ACK! I'm so sorry! *hughs*

Anyway, the real point of this entry is to totally pimp my church's picnic tomorrow. So if you are on the west end of Owensboro and smell b-b-q, come on down to Precious Blood church and see what we've got. We put on a pretty good shindig if I say so myself.

So, probably everyone I know has already seen X3, but let me just say, it rocked! I would have liked Brian Singer to direct it, but oh well such is life. I won't say too much more, but I highly recommend it!

And! Looking through my TV Guide yesterday, I saw where Hugh Laurie will be the guest on Inside the Actor's Studio on June 4. Yay!
